Treatments for Cervical Cancer

Treatment options include surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy, chosen based on stage, tumor size, age, overall health, and future fertility plans.

  • Precancerous lesions may be cured with a cone excision alone, allowing future pregnancy.
  • Invasive cervical cancer often requires radical hysterectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, or a combination.
